Lux/Kurz Faction donation question? - Guild Wars Forums

What is the purpose of you having to sign your name when you donate faction to your respective side? Is it like a pledge of some sort to make you feel more involved with the game? Or is there a master list that shows who donated how much faction?

It's there to ensure ppl don't accidentally pledge their faction to the guild, as most use it for amber/jade, or things that earn gold.

slightly off topic: guests should b able to donate faction. My guild went luxon, and I wanna work on my kurz title (yes, i am QQing, no need to point it out)

Buy amber, it still counts towards your title.

yeah but at half the rate . .. you donate 10k you get 20k points to your title . ..

that is the advantage of pledging to that faction

You get double points to your title for the allegiance skills, ie: 3,000 Faction/skill = 6,000 points.
